Shannon International Airport is closest to An Sibin riding centre (1 hour 20 min). It is only 20 minutes to Ennis and 30 minutes to Limerick.

Kerry Airport, Farranfore, is only 15 minutes from Killarney and the Ring of Kerry and 20 minutes from Tralee.

Dublin Airport is the biggest and busiest airport in Ireland. From Dublin Airport, bus services connect travelers nationwide to all major Irish cities like Galway and Limerick as well as the train stations in Dublin city.

Shannon airport is the closest rental car station to the An Sibin riding centre.

Please remember  - we drive on the left hand side of the road in Ireland and many of the smaller country roads are very narrow!

By public transport:

 

From Dublin airport / city:

There is a bus connection with www.citylink.ie from Dublin airport / city to Loughrea with route #763

It takes about 3 hours and costs around EUR 22.

From Loughrea we collect our riders in the afternoon at around 17:00h for EUR 45 per person in our group transfer.

Other collection times are possible on request at extra cost.

 

From Limerick city:

There is a bus with www.buseireann.ie from Limerick to Scariff leaving Limerick at 14:15h bus route#345 and arriving in Scariff at 15:30h

Cost: around EUR 20.

We collect our guests from Scariff for EUR15 per person.

 

From Galway city:

There is the a bus connection from Galway city to Loughrea with www.citylink.ie route #763

We can collect our riders from Loughrea at around 17:00h for EUR 45 per person in our group transfer.

 

From Ennis city: 

There are buses with www@locallinklc.ie  on route #344 from Ennis to our village Whitegate and we collect our riders for free from Whitegate.

Our Saturday transfer from Shannon Airport

EUR 55 per person/per way in our group transfer at around 11:00h and again at around 16:00h

By Car:

From Shannon Airport take the M/N18 in Ennis / Galway direction.

Go past Ennis and take the exit 13 for R352 via Tulla, Scariff and Mountshannon to Whitegate (1 hour 20 min drive; about 70Km)

From Whitegate still on the R352 towards Portumna; after 3km there is a sign on the left for the road no: L40361. Follow this little road uphill to the very end (1,5 Km). Drive up past the stables to the main house.

From Dublin Airport (or Dublin city) take the M50 in the direction of M4 and M6, then on the M6 take exit 15 at Ballinasloe (about 1 hour 20 min driving in Galway direction)

From Ballinasloe the R355 to Portumna (40min drive).

From Portumna the R352 in the Whitegate / Scarriff direction (30min drive).

Before coming to Whitegate, soon after the County Galway / County Clare border sign, turn right onto road no: L40361. Follow this little road uphill to the very end (1,5 Km). Drive past the stables to the main house.
